Preservation Alliance Honors The PlayList

The PlayList earns History Honors for special episode. The PlayList presents: Last Call for the Mitchell Yards is among the best preservation projects in the state according to the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota. The arts & history documentary was noted as one of the top preservation achievements this year. The episode tells the story of the historic railroad roundhouse & rail yard outside Hibbing. It features music by Paul Seeba, the poetry of Iron Range native Sheila Packa, photography by Dan Turner and the preservation work of David Aho. The Preservation Alliance of Minnesota inspires people to connect with historic places and promotes community vitality through preservation.

In the Classroom with The PlayList

Teacher Chrissy Valento and Duluth artist Adam McCauley share a lesson with 4th graders at Laura MacArthur Elementary School in Duluth & with The PlayList. Lesson plans available at our Education Page.
