Video Summary

Topics: “Duluth Sets May Snow Record” & “Duluth and Superior Tourism” & “Minnesota Fishing Opener”

Description: Duluth set a record it would rather not have this week: the largest single snowfall total for a single day in May.

And we set a few other records as well. During National Travel and Tourism week, local travel bureaus are touting the economic windfall tourism has in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota.

And about 500,000 anglers are expected out on the water this weekend for the opening of the Minnesota fishing season.

Guests: Dan Miller, National Weather Service Duluth; Nikky Farmakes, Travel Superior; Maarja Anderson Hewitt, Visit Duluth
