The budget passed this week by Wisconsin lawmakers passed on a party-line vote, with little support from Democrats. Northern Wisconsin Senator Janet Bewley came to the studio with an update. And the 49th annual Park Point Art Fair is one of the premiere art fairs in the region, and maybe the only one held on a sand bar! Park Point Art Fair committee chair Jake Kapsner is our guest.

With little support from Democrats, Wisconsin lawmakers passed a 2-year budget this week and sent it to Gov. Evers. State Senator Janet Bewley, the Senate Assistant Minority leader, came to the studio to talk about the budget and other legislative issues.

The Park Point Art Fair is one of the top art fairs in the region, drawing artists from all over. Park Point Art Fair committee chair joins us to talk about the fair and its importance to the community.
