WDSE•WRPT is proud to welcome two new additions to their team: AJ Larson (left, in photo) as multi-media videographer, editor and producer, and Jake Guello (right, in photo) as broadcast maintenance engineer.
Larson joins WDSE•WRPT as multi-media videographer, editor and producer from KBJR and CBS. Larson has a passion for the art of film and using it to tell peoples’ stories. He is excited about the opportunity to bring his eye for the craft to the WDSE•WRPT production team. “I look forward to sharing the diverse voices and perspectives of those living in the Northland,” Larson said. “I’m excited to work on productions that help people feel more connected with their own community.” Larson has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with an emphasis in television production from St. Cloud State University.
Guello is excited to return to the area to work for a nonprofit media organization that serves his hometown. “I love being outdoors, and nothing compares to our region for running, climbing and biking,” Guello said. “And I’m grateful that I’m able to work for an organization that highlights so many great things about living in this region.” Guello joins WDSE•WRPT as a broadcast maintenance engineer from Alpha Media in Saginaw, MI, and Lakeland PBS in Bemidji. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Superior in mass communication with a minor in information technology.
