WDSE•WRPT is proud to welcome Thomas Church to their team as Grants Manager. Through this role, Church will help WDSE•WRPT continue to provide quality educational and entertaining programming and events that are rooted in the community and benefit people of all ages throughout the Northland.

Church joins WDSE•WRPT with over 8 years of experience as a nonprofit consultant, managing grant-funded projects for museums across Minnesota and the Northland, including in St. Louis County and Chisolm. He has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Carleton College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School.

“Now, more than ever, our community is looking to WDSE•WRPT to capture our local stories and provide meaningful information and events that bring the communities we serve together. We have something for everyone on multiple platforms - on-air and online,” said Patty Mester, General Manager at WDSE•WRPT. “Our station is proud to rise to the occasion, and Thomas will play a critical role in helping WDSE•WRPT continue to serve our community in these essential ways.”

“I’m honored to work for a station that does so much for its community,” Church said. “I particularly love its historical documentaries and the local stories that they tell, and I’m excited to play an active role in support of these types of projects!”
