Making It Up North Nominated for Three Upper Midwest Regional Emmys!
WDSE•WRPT’s is proud to announce that its second season of Making It Up North received three Upper Midwest Regional Emmy nominations in the categories of ‘Arts & Entertainment’, ‘Historic/Cultural/Nostalgic’ and ‘Magazine’! The episodes feature the staging of the “Filthy Habit” opera, the revitalization of the Lincoln Park Craft District and the creative entrepreneurs inspired by the lakes of Minnesota.
The three nominated episodes, Making It Opera: The Filthy Habit (Arts & Entertainment), Making It Lincoln Park (Historic/Cultural/Nostalgic) and Making It Up North: Off the Lake (Magazine), along with every episode from both past seasons, can be found at the Making It Up North website or on the free PBS Video App.

Emmy-nominated Making It Up North is in production of its third season, scheduled to debut on WDSE•WRPT in January 2020. Making It Up North celebrates innovative people carving their own path and creative entrepreneurship across Minnesota, telling the stories of artists, artisans and entrepreneurs realizing their dreams in a changing economy.
