Almanac North

Almanac North is a weekly public affairs program that takes a closer look at news and public affairs issues facing northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. In an era when news is presented in neat 90-second "sound bites", it is refreshing to find a program that gives viewers in-depth interviews with local newsmakers. That is what you will find each week on Almanac North.

Pricing includes credits at beginning and end of each broadcast and rebroadcast of weekly show for one year, total about 186 credits.

Venture North

Venture North is a weekly magazine series that celebrates the talent and tenacity of people who live in the PBS eight viewing area. This program features people to meet, places to visit and things to do in northeastern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin. It highlights the handiwork of homebuilders, guitar makers, artists and other unique residents of the area; it showcases local parks and conservation areas and takes viewers along on rafting trips, canoe outings and nature hikes.

One Year of Underwriting Credits: $3,600
Pricing includes credits at beginning and end of each broadcast and rebroadcast of weekly show, total about 200 credits. For underwriters seeking exposure in other markets, production underwriting is available at an increased rate.

Project-specific funding and production underwriting for live broadcasts offer expanded opportunities at a different fee structure. Themes vary by project, but historically have included a range of subjects such as law, medicine, family dynamics, history, cooking, gardening and music. PBS children's programs consistently rank among the most popular in the nation. From the classic Sesame Street to the national favorite Arthur, PBS offers a range of children's programs that are both educational and entertaining. Weekday program underwriting is priced at $1,000 per year; weekend selections are available at $1,200 annually.
