Daniel O’Donnell Stand Beside Me features Public Television’s favorite Irish Crooner, Daniel O’Donnell, his long-time singing partner the lovely Mary Duff, and is accompanied by The Daniel O’Donnell Band. The concert is packed with notable greats including, the popular 1956 sing-a-long Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) introduced in Alfred Hitchcock’s film The Man Who Knew Too Much starring Doris Day and James Stewart.
Sprinkled in the mix are song favorites from popular music artists of the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s, including Dean Martin’s signature song That’s Amore. A crowd pleaser, Daniel is sure to throw in his mix of signature standards to complement this concert production overflowing with many first-time, television performances by Daniel O’Donnell.
