Hattie Peterson writes cool rock tunes with an edge. Backed by Matt Mobley on bass and David Frankenfeld on drums, the trio rolls into The PlayList studio to share new music in advance of the 2012 release of their first album.

Illustrator/animator Brian Barber share his secret stockpile of ingenious work at the Duluth Art Institute. He brings style and humor to each project. Barber and curator Anne Dugan narrate the PlayList art break while installing work in the gallery. Showing through June 17, 2012 at the Duluth Art Institute.

Sculptor Robin Murphy shares her process and whimsical work with The PlayList. Each piece of work provokes a twist, a character and a story in the viewer's imagination. Murphy teaches and rents studio space at the Duluth Art Institute's Lincoln Building.

The creative genius behind the Magic Smelt Puppet Troupe shares his passion for play and puppetry. Jim Ouray, aka Mr. Smelt, visits The PlayList in advance of the first every Magic Smelt Parade in Duluth, MN. 4 pm Sunday, April 22 at the foot of the Aerial Lift Bridge, parade to Zeitgeist Arts Cafe for smelt fry.
