North Shore photographers thrive on collaboration, inspiration and support. The group encourages the artform and each other. From sunrise to sunsets and storm clouds to rainbows, you'll be inspired by the extremely talented artists who make up the North Shore Photography Club. Their current photo exhibit is "Sky's The Limit" is on display in Two Harbors at the Vanilla Bean Cafe.
She calls it "in-your-face street art." Because of the resurgence of street art as a powerful visual force in world culture Nancy Miller, curator of the "North Street," brings this show to Virginia's Lyric Center for the Arts. The exhibit features street-inspired work by local, statewide, national and international artists. Nancy takes you and The PlayList to the Lyric's Arts First Stage Gallery for a tour of this genre.
He was once a punk band musician. Today, Andy Elwell is described as quietly-intense. His music captures the essence of Minnesota and touches the heart with a forgotten sensibility. Born in Hibbing and raised in Duluth, he now resides in the Twin Cities where his passion for music has only grown. Andy brings his acoustic guitar and original songs to the WDSE•WRPT studio for a live set on The PlayList.
