The Duluth Playhouse is taking the dark, 1935 Alfred Hitchcock classic, The 39 Steps, and twisting it into an absurd, wacky, and over the top performance. A major part of the wackiness and hilarity comes from only four talented actors playing more than 150 crazy characters. The gut-bursting show opens June 2 and keeps the laughs rolling till June 12.

The new Duluth program plans to have summer classes at the Sacred Heart Music Center until they open their hopeful permanent facility in the Historic Duluth Armory after its renovation in 2012.
