Kelly Dupre is known for her wonderfully expressive illustrations and her creative approach to making art. This week she invites us in to her process and latest experiment with collage. Her wood block prints and books can be found throughout the upper Midwest, including the Sivertson Gallery in both Grand Marias and Duluth.

Celebrate Bob Dylan's 70th birthday with some of his biggest fans in Duluth and Hibbing! Find out how you can observe and toast the Northland’s famous son. Duluth's Dylan Fest kicks off on May 22 and runs till May 28 and showcases original Duluth and Northern Minnesota musicians as they interpret Dylan's works. Hibbing's Dylan Days celebrates its tenth year from May 26-29 with visual arts, creative writing & songwriting contests and much music; among the honored guests are two of Bobby Zimmerman’s original band mates from The Golden Chords.

Their music encompasses a light and airy feel, mixed in with a bright folk sound. Enjoy the smooth harmonies of Yester performing a live, in-studio set. The band includes Chris LeBlanc on drums, Kighle Ollah on guitar, Keith Yanes on bass, and Ned Netzel on guitar/percussion. The Duluth band recently played for enthusiastic crowds at Homegrown.
