Video Summary

They hail from Embarrass and bring a maverick, high-energy style of string band music with them! Described as Americana, rock, renegade, foot-stomping, forget-what-troubles-ya-music, Matt Ray and Those Damn Horses are fresh off a string of CD release gigs across the state. The band storms the studio with a set of lively tunes.

Claire Taylor moves stained glass from the realm of craft to the level of original, abstract art. Her creativity spills over into teaching, painting, watercolor, and more, all from the shores of beautiful Burntside Lake. Follow the Echo Trail to her studio near Ely for an inspiring lesson in a fluid medium.

From February 3rd to the 13th, Ely is transformed into a mini art gallery exhibiting the works of more than 150 local artists. Catch up with the organizers of the Ely ArtWalk for a celebration of the arts and artists. You'll also get an update on two new theater productions in Duluth.
