Explore the multi-faceted talents of Lyz Jaakola. Her artistic and creative endeavors are wide and varied. Her resume includes singing with regional chorus groups and opera companies, and directing a nationally recognized Native women's hand-drum group as well as a delightful youth chorus at the Fond du Lac Ojibwe School. Tonight she performs live with her Finnish blues band, the Smokin' Chimokes!

The exceptional women who grace theater stages across the city come together for a series of events by and about women. Tessa Lenneman and Kate Horvath share efforts to celebrate women and encourage collaborations through Women in Theater events on tap at the Duluth Play Ground. The two share the background of the program and highlight upcoming Women in Theater events for patrons of all ages and sexes!
