On this edition of Native Report the life experiences of artist Frances Yellow come alive in paintings and drawings filled with color inspired by his ancestors, his Elders and the life of his people. Then the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971 was the largest land settlement in US history, yet some issues of concern have yet to be resolved. And finally we visit the northernmost city of the United States: Barrow, Alaska where we watch the community come together to help in the harvest of a bowhead whale; an event of great cultural importance to the Inupiat.
