Video Summary

Topics: "Duluth Budget Cuts" & "Nuisance Bear Problems"

Description: Cuts to Local Government Aid payments from the state of Minnesota is putting the City of Duluth in a tight spot for its 2012 budget.  Some significant cuts could include closing branch libraries, reducing road repairs and cutting back on park maintenance.  The city may ask voters to approve a referendum that would help pay for park improvements.

And as Fall nears, hungry bears are out looking for food as they prepare for hibernation.  The Department of Natural Resources has some tips for homeowners to keep your yard off the bears' menu.

Guests: David Montgomery, City of Duluth Chief Administrative Officer; Rich Staffon, Minnesota DNR Area Wildlife Manager
