Video Summary

Topics: “Retiree Insurance Ruling/Casino Ruling with City of Duluth” & “St. Louis County Property Tax Increase” & “Barrage Concert at Duluth East”

Description: Two major court rulings came down this week, one in favor of the City of Duluth, and one against. The Mayor joins us to talk about these important rulings. Property owners in St. Louis County will see increases in their property tax statements, due mainly to a decision to eliminate the “Homestead Credit” made by the Minnesota legislature last session. And the exciting violin touring group “Barrage” comes to Duluth, giving East High School orchestra students a chance to play with the pros.

Guests: Don Ness, Mayor of Duluth; Keith Nelson, St. Louis County Commissioner; Kevin Gray, St. Louis County Administrator; Mark Eskola, Duluth East Orchestra Director
