Description: Food shelf use in northeastern Minnesota was up more than 20-percent in 2011, making Minnesota FoodShare's 30th annual fundraising campaign more important than ever. The fundraising campaign kicked off this week.

And this year's "One Book, One Community" project features the book "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks", which will spur a number of conversations in the region surrounding medical ethics, race and more.
