Video Summary

Topics: "Minnesota Budget Impasse" & "Duluth Library Book Sale"

Description: Democratic Governor Mark Dayton and Republican Legislative leaders continue to meet in an effort to reach a compromise on a state budget deal.  With a June 30th deadline looming, time is running short to avoid a state government shutdown.

And the Duluth Public Library’s annual book sale has been moved up two months to avoid a conflict with the state primary election.  With the city of Duluth facing a budget crisis, the book sale is more important than ever for the library.

Guests: Rep. Tom Huntley, DFL-Duluth; Mike Hickey, State Director-National Federation of Independent Business; Carla Powers, Duluth Library Director; Adele Krusz, Friends of the Duluth Library
