Video Summary

Topics: "Special Session/Minnesota Budget" & "City of Duluth News"

Description: A long over-night special session of the Minnesota State Legislature ended the government shutdown, but few are happy with the end result.  Northern Minnesota Lawmakers join us to talk about the bills that were passed in an agreement between Gov. Mark Dayton and Republican lawmakers.

And it was a busy week for city government in Duluth.  The city learned it will lose $4.2-million dollars in Local Government Aid as a result of the special session, and filings closed for city council races and the Mayor's race, and for the first time in the city's history the incumbent Mayor will be running unopposed.

Guests: Sen. Roger Reinert, DFL-Duluth; Rep. Tom Huntley, DFL-Duluth; Don Ness, Mayor of Duluth
